DOUBLE SURGEON'S KNOT

Used to connect two lines of differing diameters.

Lay the line and leader parallel, with about a 6 to 8 inch overlap.

Tie a simple overhand knot with both lines together. Both the short end and the long end should be completely pulled through.

Don't tighten the knot yet. Go through again with both ends exactly the same as the first time.

Hold all ends and pull the knot tight. Trim the ends.
