3" long mounting screws helpful in thick walled installations but can also be cumbersome. Oliver at Bennett is a top notch technician who helped with this retrofit installation. Port switch operates starboard tab and vice versa. Am told this is standard. Seems very strange to me. Have talked with other boaters and they tell me the opposite, ie., on their boats starboard switch operates starboard tab and vice versa.

This product works well. The installation instructions were clear, making the installation very easy. I like the lighted indicators which makes seeing tab position for trim adjustment easier. The adjustable light brightness is a plus when operating in direct sunlight.
